the goods and the bads

To start off, just a small glimpse of my return to the Ktown and Union Gallery.

The opening went well, and both Barb and Ted showed up and gave me some good feedbacks~ (lance, Barb says hi!) Ted likes the video quite a bit and proposed to trade his artwork for my video. I was quite overwhelmed~ needless to say, i got the better end of the bargain. Nancy and Miss Files and Jimmy from GCC also came down and supported me, as well as good old Phil, BFA peeps (e.Paul and Maayke) and of course the lovely Jack~ Thank you all for your support!

I finished reading Mark Haddon's "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time" this afternoon. The book is both heartwarming and disturbing. We follow the journey of Christopher, an autistic kid with superb memory, from home to London in the quest to uncover the death of the neighbour's dog. Through reading his journal, the reader is able to reach deep into the mind of an autistic individual as Christopher tries to make sense of the world around him. the book can be disorientating at times and frustrating at others. It's also rather sad to see how a child with such disability interact with his parents, and how hurtful it can be at times for the people who care and love him, but cannot receive anything back in the conventional manner. TErrific read.

now the bads... The Suns lost last night~ my Nash jersey is forever cursed. DAMN YOU, CUBAN & DIRK!

Congratulations for such wonderful opening! Wish I could've been there to check it out. Did you have to build that room? that's amazing! Wow, and amazing those people are still around Maayke, Ted, Barb and etc...

Autistic people are quite amazing. Some of the stuff these people can do is just mind blowing, But I guess with great brain power, you'd have to give up something. Weird how the world works like that.

Just wait till Studmire comes back dude. If Nash can stay healthy. Next year they'd be unstoppable. And NO Nash's jersey isnt' forever cursed, because I haven't bought it yet~
