well...all ya proud true Canadian should be quite used to the extreme weather we got here in Toronto by now....then again, there are still these people 'deliberately' driving into ditches during snowstorms.....i don't get it.
so...how bad was it?? for starter...took me 1 hour to get to work this morning..yup. Then i had to deal with a roomful of restless grade 8ers who really rather be snowangeling outside... by morning recess, i have about 9 students left....by noon... THREE! what da heck!!! why did i drive one hour and risk my life to go all the way up there... man...kids these days, they really take education for granted!! back in the days, i remember going to school in pouring rain...and walk in the mud with barefeet so that my only pair of shoes won't get dirty!!! ( ok...so this is not exactly my own memory...but you get the point..)
