so it's been a while since i last updated the blog~ to all my 'faithful' readers out there~ my bad. My VERY BAD.
In an attampt to make some sense out of chaotic lifestyle (really isn't that bad~ just that i am grossly unorganized....) i will have to "THINK" in point forms:
SCHOOL: I begun to assert myself more and more in my classroom now~ the fact that my gr. 7 saw me supply teach in a gr. 8 classroom last week really helped, i think. They came up to me more than 5 times on that day and demanded me to return to my own classroom (normally they couldn't give a s**t whether i am there or not~) I guess working as a gr. 8 teacher gave me some sort of celebrity status among the younger gr. 7s.... I also conducted some DRA (reading assessments) on my own with my own class~ My kids are bright~ they are just too spacy at times.
HOME: the neverending reno marched on. We are in for the long haul~ The "don't worry the glass door takes half a day to finish' promise is still fresh in my ears; NEVERTHELESS, it's been a week since our contractor's broken mandarin rang in my head.... To be fair, he did try. To be honest, the glass door was finished on Tuesday (or Wed?). The MOR*N simply don't think before he act!! he used a SHARPIE (RED) to mark the tile and now we can remove it. Okay, if we assess the 'damage' simply by what he did to the tile..it's no big deal. But both Jack and I cannot stand them stay for another week just to replace the tiles again!!! yes, we tried (yes, you heard it right..they made the mess, we cleaned it up!) to remove it ourself with 5 different solvents....and we came to the conclusion that we are going to live with it. The thing that pisses me off is that we paid close to 4 grand to IMPROVE this WC ..but those marker lines is gonna drag the whole room down.....
so, one month or so later after we started the reno....start school (both of us) .....welcomed my cousin..... We finally enjoyed some peace and quiet this weekend. We cleaned the house....wipe down the dirts...mopped the floor... and finally this is a livable place again.
mental note to myself. DON"T GO FOR CHEAP CONTRACTOR AGAIN> =)
oh one last thing~ Jack got me a late birthday present and it's SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!!!!!!!! I am gonna consider this a TWO-YEAR birthday present PLUS Christmas gift though cus it's way totooooooooooo MUCH!!!!! Thank you, ya.

I love my husband = DH... so sweet to post the above :)
Ming: I thought your contractor was not that cheap anyway... I think unless you get someone from the home depot (having to adhere to some sort of written contract) or extreme makeover home edition/fork out A LOT OF money, contractors are like nightmares...
or Mike Holmes..... you think you are calling a contractor...instead you get a superhero!!! Holmes on Homes, Thursday 9ET on HGTV.
