GOING GREEN.

new look. New entry.

new year?

yup, it's been 2 months since the giant disco ball touched down at Time Square. 2008 has been passing me by swiftly and i am still playing catch up with life.

what's new? well, great news in my little circle of friends: both the Wei and the Teng are expecting. Baby #4 and #5 of friends of same age or younger. Not that i am counting. My cousin in Swiss is also expecting; in fact, she's due in March. (damn it, she beats me in everything since we were kids.) I must admit that despite the extreme joy and happiness for all these good news, i am feeling slightly left behind. Don't get me wrong, i ain't saying that we are gonna rush into parenthood because everyone else is; nevertheless, you can't help but wonder that has everyone else moved on to the next phrase of life without us.

Lately i've been thinking about parenthood and all. I have no doubt that all my friends are going to be top-notch parents (plus their kid will have the GREAT uncle Ming as a role model, hahah). I can't, however, say the same about some of the parents i've had to deal with at school. I wonder if i have any right to judge them, since i've never experience parenthood either. Maybe they are doing the best they can. Maybe some kids do turn out alright in the end despite a rough childhood. Maybe all these moments of struggles with them will pay off for them, in small ways, somewhere down the road. Maybe i am (am i?) making a difference. Maybe.

2008 is gonna be a good year, if not great. i can feel it. I guess i am just feeling a bit melodramatic since it's 4am in the morning and report card is due again. Or maybe i am still not getting over the shock on the weekend. (see pictures)

Congratulations, Nica/Lance/Abby or Aiden (on a second thought, you sure you don't wanna him or her Ming? a great name for both boys and girls~)

Stop bragging about your iphone, fool! That Android phone OS by Google looks pretty cool. Maybe I'll get a 'google phone' instead.

btw, i don't believe this is a "new" look, coz you have used this look before already.

Ming, I am more interested in that wax apple photo....
I will ship Anabelle to you if you feel the need of parenthood.

dude...just checked out the google platform and it's quite impressive...but it's definitely not as slick as the apple, man.. come on now.don't lie. I am sure that second gen. iPhone will leave google android in the dust....

yeah I know. I just don't like to be the same with everyone else! Maybe I'll just stick with my 'brick-like' little Nokia

i'd think that more people own the Nokia than iPhones...

i ain't trying to say that iPhone is the best. In fact, there's tons of limitations... it works for me though. fit my needs.. i hate carrying too many things, and now i got all i need in one machine..... one SEXY machine..yay~
